Subscription Box Review: Graze

I've recently started a subscription with Graze.com
They're a company that specializes in weekly boxes filled with 4 individual healthy snacks
 for $6.00 per box.
I registered and received my first box free this week and I am in love.
They're so easy to toss in my bag and take to work or on the go, making healthy snacking even easier.
The Graze website lets you rate over 90 different snack selections, choosing what you want to try, trash, like or love. The box shows up in your mailbox each week and you're good to go.

This was my first box. It contained
 - Honeycomb Flapjack (rustic rolled oat flapjack with honeycomb and chocolate drizzle), which is a bit like a granola bar.

- Cherries and Berries (cherries, lingonberries, cranberries and jumbo raisins)

- Punchy Protein Nuts (chili and lime cashews, raw and blanched almonds and raw pistachio kernels)

- Pomodoro Rustichella (mini tomato breadstick, cheddar cheese croutons and tomato, basil and oregano almonds)

Each box comes with a card containing all of the nutritional facts and best by dates of your snacks. This card also includes your very own referral code so you can get another free box when you refer three friends.  Graze has two boxes for you to choose from, the nibble box and the calorie counter box, which keeps the snacks under 150 calories each.

Overall I am very satisfied with Graze The snacks have been great, the price is reasonable, and its convenient for me. You can get the boxes delivered once a week or every two weeks, and don't forget
if you click the link you can get you first and fifth box free!
or use the code  DKWJP3LNU when you sign up.

Influenster Surfs Up Voxbox Review

My Surfs Up Voxbox has finally arrived and the products are so amazing!
This was my first box from Influenster and they did not disappoint.

The box had two coupons for free Jamba juice smoothie kits. so If i can find those near me I'll purchase some. I love a smoothie in the morning before work.
Now on to the testers.

First up is the set of Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. This was the first thing I spotted when I opened up the box. I swear by the NYM Beach Babe Texturizing Cream  for that windswept, just stepped off the beach look. So these I tested these out first thing and I loved the results. They are sulfate free and they smell so good. As soon as these run out I will be getting them in a full size.

The second product I received is this mini Hawaiian Tropic after sun moisturizer. Its designed to be applied after you've been out in the sun. It's a mix of Aloe gel and Coconut Papaya lotion. It smells absolutely amazing.  I want to spend more time out in the sun just so I can justify using this everyday.

The nail polish that came in this box is beautiful. It's Aqua from Sinful Colors. I love the color, but the formula is kind of thick and takes a few coats to get even coverage. The color payoff is great once applied and is long wearing and did not chip.  You can Find this brand at Walgreens.

The last item in the box was this pain relief shot. It's kind of like those 5 hour energy shots, only for instant pain relief. I haven't used this yet, so next time I have a migraine I'll give this a shot.

So that's my first complimentary box from Influenster. I'm very happy with all the samples I was sent. Check out the site for great lifestyle reviews and a chance to get you own influenster voxbox

I've just started using Pinterest recently so check me out on there and on Bloglovin!

Decor and DIY: Repurpose Candle Jars

I am an obsessively organized person. I like everything to have its place, and for it to look neat and clean. I previously worked in the interior design industry and it's left it mark. I'm always looking for fun, inexpensive ways to organize space.
I have a ton of makeup and brushes and tools, and only so much can fit neatly into my vanity drawers. My latest trick for brush storage is to repurpose the glass candle jars that have burned out, especially since I'm paying for the glass anyway.
 Keep reading for a tutorial!

I start by putting the candle jar, like this one, straight into the freezer. I let it chill for about 20 minutes.

When you take it out of the freezer, separate the wax from the glass with a knife, and the puck will pop right out.

After removing the wax, wash the glass out and you're ready to go!

Quick Tip: Save the wax to use with a tart burner!

Makeup Mondays

My current beauty obsessions.

My new holy grail is the GLAMGLOW Super-Mud Clearing Treatment.
I am so sad that I've run out of this. It's absolutely amazing. It works like a dream. It clears out blackheads and blemishes like nothing.Seriously my skin has never felt so amazing. It works great as a spot treatment as well. I will definitely be picking up another one of these, and maybe trying more from their line.

Number two is  the Seaweed Clarifying Night Treatment  from The Body Shop. I've been using this for a few months now and it's amazing. I love the texture and the scent, and it works!
I usually pick up 2 or 3 of these at a time when The Body Shop has their 40% sale. These retail at $20 each, but the sale marks them down to $12. (The sale is on now!) Anything from the seaweed line is amazing. I also use the pore perfector and daytime moisturizer.

My third favorite this month is the Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme. I've been testing this out on and off for the last two months and I am loving it. It's got buildable coverage and a little goes a long long way. It is easy to apply with a damp beauty blender, and it doesn't leave your face cakey and or oily looking. I will be be repurchasing this for sure.

Number four is Candy by Prada. This smells amazing. Its a burst of vanilla and caramel. I love it for summer. I've been wearing it almost every day.

Getting back into this

Wow it's been a year of transition.
I lost my job in October.
Then I went back to college full time, which was much harder then I originally anticipated.
Now Summer session is coming to an end, and I can relax for a bit.
I've finally got a brand new job, and I'm pretty happy about it.
Things are looking up.
Going to try blogging again.
So keep an eye on this page.
